This post has by far some of the best tips in it. I just need to buy the homeopathic pellets and I’ll be set.
Thanks for another great one Jasmine,

Good luck, be careful, we often have the virus 24 hours before it comes to life. Wash the hands up to the elbows, then wash again. 🙂

  5. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your website. It’s a
very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here
and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create
    your theme? Superb work!

    • admin says:

Thank you Simply Parenting, I did outsource someone to design the sight. I definitely wanted something that was easy on the eyes and refreshing to look at and she achieved exactly what I was looking for in designing my site. I had someone else do the logo.

Wow, I wish I understood this, but it seems like a foreign language! Perhaps I need to research the treatments you listed….

  7. Chloe says:

Also, I am confused because I thought Ipecac was to induce vomiting?

  8. Tabitha says:

Wow thank you I really am gonna need the help also I am wondering if you cough really hard and it makes you vomit do you have the stomach bug

    • admin says:

Hi Tabitha, You may want to look into an upper respiratory infection if you are coughing that hard. That happened to me when I was pregnant with my son and was diagnosed with bronchitis. My chiropractor helped me get through it without antibiotics. Hope you are well.

  9. Denise says:

Why would you give ipecac for nausea? That’s stupid. It induces vomiting.

    • admin says:

      Hi Denise,

There are two categories of ipecac preparations syrup used in standard medical practice and then there is a homeopathic remedy. They are given for different purposes and the one I recommended is a homeopathic remedy as stated in the post. The syrup is used to induce vomiting in case of accidental poisoning. While “Ipecacuanha” is a homeopathic remedy made from ipecac by a process of dilution and succussion (shaking). I hope this helps to clear up any confusion.

If you are taking homepathic remedies the peppermint oil in the Dr. Bronner’s soap you recommended can antidote your remedies! Maybe try it w/o the peppermint scent just to be safe.

  13. Kellee says:

    Hello,
This info has been very resourceful, however, I just recently got the stomach virus for the second time in three weeks and I have no idea where I keep getting it from. I saw that you mentioned to take the Renew Life Ultimate Flora Women’s 90 Billion stain, and I still managed to get very sick. In fact, I was so sick the second time around that I had to be hospitalized. That was on Friday (4-18-14) and today is the 4/21/14 and while I am not still vomiting, I am very bloated with very foul smelling gas, bowels, and burps, and still very fatigued 🙁 Should I be taking a different probiotic? I just want my gut back to being healthy. I welcome all advise 🙂

that stinks about getting it again. I would try the 200B 7-day probiotic by ReNew Life, hopefully that will help give you a big boost. There is a 5-day regimen by RAW that is 400B which I take personally once a month to keep things in check and healthy. Also some homemade bone broth will be helpful if you can make it. Good luck and feel better soon!
