  8. My family loves to can and every year my Dad puts away gallons of salsa, while mom cans strawberry jam, pickles, and apple butter. Yesterday I picked up some of the mini ball jars and will be canning homemade dairy gluten free chocolate sauce this week for Holiday gifts. Ohh but some homemade apple jelly would be great this fall.

    Without question I would can blackberry sage jam and blueberry thyme jam. My kids really love jam on sandwiches and a dollop in yogurt and I would like to recreate my mom’s plum syrup because its heaven on pancakes!
